Reddy came to visit us for an early Christmas gift this past week! Cade enjoyed sharing his day to day activities with her. We roasted marshmallows on a CHILLY night, drove through an amazing 2 million Christmas Lights display, visited the Opryland Hotel, and opened Christmas gifts! Talk about a FUN time!

Our friends, Freda & Jimmy Bright, surprised us this holiday with an amazing Christmas gift for Cade. Mr. Jimmy is a skilled woodworker who handcrafted a beautiful Black Walnut wagon out of a tree that we recently had removed from our front yard! Needless to say, we were flabbergasted! There's no doubt this wagon will be the envy of everyone we come in contact with!
We FINALLY got an opportunity to see Santa this week too! After 2 unsuccessful attempts at the mall (Santa's inopportune lunch break and a 1.45 hr wait) we discovered the Bass Pro Santaland. Cade had a ball watching the Lionel train racing around the track, and looking at the fish aquarium and stuffed wildlife. Just when it seemed Santa was an afterthought, because of all the FUN activities going on, we braved the short line, and took the best photo ever!
After seeing the bear, however, Cade's Christmas list quickly changed from wanting a BIG Buzz Lightyear and a Pink Dragon (from Shrek) to wanting Santa to bring him a BIG BEAR! GRRRR! It was funny!

P.S. "Silver & Gold" is Cade's favorite Christmas song this year. He watches Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer on a daily basis, and sings this song randomly throughout the day. It's so cute!
