We lost a bet during football season and decided to meet our friends Kelli, Chet & Parker at Doublehead Resort in Towne Creek, AL, to settle up. This was our second trip with the Lachowicz family to Doublehead. It's a great weekend getaway with a cozy lakeside cabin with its own fishing pier, playgrounds, nature trails and many more fun amenities! The boys loved putting worms on hooks and throwing the fish back in the lake, while the mommies enjoyed back porch chats and catching up on their favorite magazines and books. We look forward to our next trip - but just hope OUR team(s) win THIS year! :)
