We recently returned from a fabulous trip to Louisiana to visit Stefan's family. This was Cade's first plane ride - so we were anxious to see how he'd do - and he definitely earned his wings! Stefan's sister and brother in law celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary with a GREAT party to kick off the weekend. The rest of the time was spent catching up with friends and family. Stefan's mom, Reddy, had our room stocked with EVERYTHING Cade needed for a week! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have "home" away from home and not have to fly with diapers/wipes, snacks, food, bibs, baby wash, etc! Cade ate his first bite of Cal's donuts (a Gonzales, LA family tradition!) and Grandma Mary's famous spaghetti & gravy. Cade also crashed at his Aunt Allison & Uncle Chad's for a Big Boy slumber party - while Stefan and I snuck away to New Orleans for dinner and a night out on the town. We couldn't have had a better trip!
