It's finally October - one of my favorite months! The leaves are changing - pumpkins & mums are adorning front porches and its still 82 degrees outside! Go figure. And to make things even more ironic, Cade is dressing up as a redpepper this Halloween! This past weekend was our neighborhood's Annual Fall Festival and Picnic, complete with a BBQ dinner, fun & games. The firetruck led the parade of kids in costume down the main drive - where they ended up at the pool house for the festival. Kids were bobbing for apples, finding toys in a haystack, bowling with pumpkins and bouncing around to their little hearts content in the Jump Zone. Cade, on the other hand, went sound to sleep after we dressed him up in his red, hot chili pepper suit! I think the steamy temps combined with a warm, velvet bunting suit put him straight into Sleepyland. Mommy and Daddy sure had fun dressing him up though - as you can tell...
